J. Kevin Lundholm

J. Kevin Lundholm has maintained an active litigation practice since his admission to the bar in 1985. Prior to joining the firm, Kevin practiced in Cleveland, Ohio for approximately five years. He was employed as a litigation attorney with the Sherwin Williams Company and as an associate with Gallagher, Sharp, Fulton & Norman.

In October, 1999, Mr. Lundholm became board certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Boston, Massachusetts. In order to achieve this board certification, Kevin had to demonstrate substantial trial experience, obtain recommendations from judges and opposing counsel, complete extensive continuing legal education requirements, and pass a day long written examination.

Mr. Lundholm received mediation training in January, 2001, at the Private Adjudication Center, Duke University. He represents clients in mediations and has served as a mediator as well. Kevin is an approved mediator for the National Arbitration Forum, which is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Kevin attended Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois, where he received a B.A. Magna Cum Laude in 1982. He graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio in 1985. He is a member of the Tuscarawas County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Kevin resides in New Philadelphia, Ohio, with his wife, Letty, and their sons, Ian and Sean. He enjoys hunting and competing with his Plott Hounds, Mel and Mojo.

Kevin's community service has included YMCA (Youth Sports Coach), Lutheran Brotherhood (Branch President), Ohio High School Mock Trial Competition (Judge), Webelo Leader, Instructor in Business Law and Ethics at the Kent State University - Tuscarawas Campus, and board member of the New Phila Youth Soccer Association. He is an active member of the New Philadelphia First Church of the Nazarene.
